Harmony Place Admissions

Our policy at Harmony Place is to admit adult women (18 and older) who are chemically addicted to drugs and/or alcohol, which may be as well as those who may also have a co-existing emotional illness.  Admission of clients will be limited to those who can emotionally, behaviorally and physically participate in the residential program, and who can be expected to benefit from the diagnostic, evaluative and therapeutic treatment services offered.

Admission to Harmony Place is considered appropriate when the individual:

•  Is female
•  Is 18 years of age or older
•  Has a history of, or current behavior of drinking and/or drug use
•  Is physically able to participate in the various aspects of the treatment program

In-depth assessments are conducted with all clients.  The admission process is comprehensive, allowing the treatment team to obtain information vital to creating a personalized and effective treatment plan.  Assessment of the client’s need is based on past history and present level of functioning.
