intimate, personalized programs for women seeking treatment of addiction
and dual disorders. Our residential program synthesizes concepts drawn
from proactive relapse prevention education, cognitive and psychodynamic
theories and 12-Step philosophy to provide our clients with a strong

Harmony Place, located in Los Angeles provides structured drug and alcohol treatment for the
woman who is accustomed to a well-appointed life. We offer a comfortable
place to do uncomfortable work. We remove concerns for personal comfort
so the individual can focus on the primary goals of treatment for addiction
and dual disorders. We pride ourselves on furnishing the highest quality
of treatment for women available, blending traditional and holistic approaches
to promote successful recovery from addiction and dual disorders.
Our
treatment team is committed to providing comprehensive services
to support in-house detoxification, medical and psychiatric
evaluations, psycho-educational group counseling, holistic
therapies, interactive group counseling, and individual and
family therapy. Our curriculum and schedules are purposefully
designed to establish the healthy balance for living needed
to support long-term sobriety. Our clientele become familiar
with their most formidable opponent – addiction. They
are concurrently equipped to identify, stabilize and intervene
when their personal relapse clues or symptoms of their dual
disorder appear. They are also introduced and familiarized
with the 12-Step program and its philosophy as a reliable
means for intervention and on-going guidance and support.
Interactive and holistic groups complete our program. While
the daily stresses of life can compromise recovery and make
it uncomfortable, our clients are encouraged to rely upon
healthy alternatives to build resistance and weather that
stress. Carefully designed specialty groups provide guidance
for stress reduction, physical restoration and emotional healing. |
